First, how do you use gold magick? Gold magick is primarily ritual magick. Originally, the rites of gold magick were solar veneration rites, but the modern rituals of gold magick are practiced all the time; keeping your bank book, going to work, seeking work. The ways of urban life are gold magick ritual made large and in order to tune into gold magick you design your personal ritual to mimic those cycles in miniature.
Carrying around your keys and wallet? Indeed, even carrying your keys and wallet. Keys have long been a symbol of the sun and angels are typically shown as carrying keys to various regions of reality, which are really more state of being than forms of geography.

The influence of gold magick as a force is what lead humanity to develop agriculture and selective ignorance of its influence is what lead to the earliest class system and class warfare. Defiance of its laws lead to the fall of feudalism even, and remember who ultimately was behind that?
The merchant class. Yes. The magna carta and other such influences were to strip the then iron class of power. They ruled by the power of iron and blood magick, blood lineage and blood shedding, and what happens when soil becomes iron heavy?
Rust? Soil that is too heavy in iron is sterile. Just as too much iron can poison us, it poisons plants also. This is why you see so much red in the desert. If iron rich soil were more life supportive it wouldn’t be visible under the green. So the forces I describe do keep their own balance. Magick is really learning how these forces behave, and developing skills to let you ride the tide.
