Perhaps the heart of today’s topic of Dark Relics can be summed up with a phrase, “A place for everything, and everything in its place.”
The world itself and the things in it have memory. Even much of science implies this even if they don’t fully endorse it. Houses, cars, landmarks, many things we don’t think of as having anything like consciousness still hold memories.
I recall one particular instance. I was working on the church grounds as I had not at the time left behind the faith of my raising, and I walked into the main chapel because I thought I heard voices. I thought maybe someone was in there and I needed to find the person I was working with, so I walked in and looked around but nobody was there. Now I was not unaccustomed to having weird experiences like that, but this was unusual in its persistence. I walked around the pew for a bit, and as I hesitated in various spots, I could almost hear different voices.
I hear voices sometimes. It’s not as unusual as people are lead to believe. It only becomes a problem when it unbalances your behaviour or emotions, but the same thing would be true if you were literally hearing statements from physically present people and having a poor reaction to them.
The voices are indistinct. This is usually the case. It originates in moments of extreme focus, fatigue or stress. The left temporal lobe can temporarily patch through to your conscious awareness. All you usually hear is “dream dialogue”, but that is not the only thing that can emerge there.
My point for sharing the church experience is that just like powerful emotion does a great job of burning things into our own memories, it does so with objects as well.
I had a history teacher who visited Germany and he heard voices like that when he was exploring one of the old prisoner camps. Among the largest dark relics are negatively encoded structures, often called haunted houses, but there doesn’t have to be an actual discarnate intelligence present.
What about thin spots where two realities overlap? In fact, many dark relics arise because realities do overlap. These objects have really strange qualities about them because they don’t follow what humans would consider normal logic.
Radon makes thin spots. It erodes things. Any really chaotic energy can do so, entropy in general. Really old graveyards are like that sometimes, animal graveyards included.
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
