Why do humans get negative? So yes, the human parallel of dark relics is the human attitude that they are entitled to subdue nature. It goes deeper than interpersonal abuse. The history of the world is written in your flesh and blood.

DNA. Yes, the pax natura is there written upon the human heart.

The fleshy tables of the heart. And many beings see it as a case of “The law is the law.”

In the human effort to subdue nature, they have produced a great many strange adaptions in their own spirits. The human soul can become amazingly twisted like those images of mutants people use in horror movies, or disfigured zombies if that is more familiar. But no matter how twisted the soul, it’s still alive, and it can even thrive in a way like cancerous tumours thrive.

Off others energy? Well, they have energy of their own, but even their energy output tends to confuse things as well as drain the balanced energy around them.

Now these amazingly horrifying new patterns usually don’t show up in flesh and blood. It will take quite a bit of time before the old relic of humanity gives way to these new patterns, and it may never. Hopefully, it won’t ever. But these twisted energies imprint on objects around them, personal possessions, places they live, and they collect. They don’t have a single source for this twisted charge. Birds of a feather flock together as they say, and the things they charge can evolve beyond even the individuals that began charging the relic.

The Hope diamond. Yes. A great many beautiful things carry a dark charge. A long history of twisted and prosperous owners, and even if the owner isn’t originally twisted, they often come to be or they rid themselves of the relic. The relics do what their originators believed they would do. They encourage a dog eat dog behaviour say, or a perception that allows other human beings to be depersonalized.

Any examples of dark charges in beautiful things? The Hope diamond was one, many classical works of art. Some have mixed charges, some only dark. Gardens can thrive and nurture a dark charge. The garden of a self-indulgent and narcissistic family can become very interesting in its energy. They tend to inspire additions. The Winchester house, beautiful in a strange way, stairs leading nowhere, stuff built just to build it.
