The topic is the wireless brain. It was difficult to give it a name as the topic itself is very broad. Some basic concepts to start. I have to throw out a lot of mainstream brain theory, which I feel comfortable doing anyway as they have been doing it themselves as well.
They used to believe brain cells could not regenerate, when in fact, loss of function occurs really only from loss of encoded patterns and often those can be re-acquired, though the effort is laborious and perhaps too taxing from one point of view.
The brain is a sense organ, plain and simple. A central processing unit for a variety of functions going on in the totality of human awareness. Other animals have shown sensitivities to electromagnetic phenomenon well beyond what’s considered humanly possible. I offer that the estimate of human possibilities in this area is short sighted and in error. Just as people can experience a deepening sensitivity to subtle sense impressions, and subconsciously develop a sympathetic response to another person, like getting sympathy pains when you live in close quarters to a pregnant woman, we experience these things in a more generalized way. We dismiss them of course in the light of our conditioned thinking.
We dismiss them with the notion that it’s all in our heads, but that possibility is anything but something to dismiss. Yes. We experience non-ordinary sense perceptions on a daily basis, but our cognitive training doesn’t allow us to model these things as so called conscious experience. So we don’t gain from them at all.
Every day our senses and our brain take in information that we make intelligible sense of, and yet it’s still a mystery how we can make intelligible sense of sounds or light patterns let alone the neural signal patterns in our own brains. And we form new patterns based on the same faculty that let us form them in the first place as children, joint attention. The first thing an infant can notice fully is the attention pattern of the parent, and their first communications are behaviours that direct the attention pattern of that same parent. Among adults, media and advertising direct our attention patterns. Whether we want it or not, we will know about the newest movie releases or media events or whatever the attention getting thing is at the moment.
This is how we all agree what is red, for example? Attention patterns learned as children? Yes, and why autistics have communication issues. They are at least partially cut off from joint attention and thus perceptual conditioning.
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
