Category: Binding Work

Binding is restricting on the action or influence of another person, though sometimes it was used on animals and natural phenomena as well.

We naturally, and without conscious intention, become enmeshed in a web of associations and activities. Other people’s agendas might affect us even though they didn’t consciously include us, and every once in a while you even run across someone who acts as a strange sort of karmic vector. These people are subconsciously binding others around them, and you can feel it. Just talk to them and you can feel yourself slipping into a specific role. Binding practices are simply getting a conscious hold on that, practising it deliberately and with planning in advance.

“One can be a brother only in something. Where there is no tie that binds men, men are not united but merely lined up.” Antoine de Saint-Exupery (French Pilot, Writer and Author of ‘The Little Prince’, 1900-1944)

You know how they say time heals all wounds? You don’t have to wait for time to pass. You can speed the process. Forgotten memories get dreamed about. So if you take a new memory, that you have processed and generalized, and then let it spin off into an absurd fantasy, as long as the…
