Compassion. I somehow image their pain.
Charity, perhaps in its most fundamental form, is willingness. Whatever life presents to you, whomever you come into contact with and how they engage you, you respond with a willingness to allow that thing to be the truth.
I feel people should be able to have what I have, food and clothing, basic things. Everyone should be able to have the same things. What if they want more?
They can want all they like. They will take more if they want it badly enough. Yes, and will they keep it? One has only so much ability to deal with things. To keep what they get. To remember what they have.
They won’t be satisfied. They will always want more and more. Even if someone steals money from me, I would think they were in trouble enough to take that step and I’d let them have it. Though it does feel pretty crummy when someone steals from you. I can’t say why exactly. It’s a rejection of your presence.
What are you considering when you consider doing anything for others?
They could ask for what they steal, but they choose to take it forcefully. They could, yes. I sometimes choose to give forcefully. Have you ever witnessed that?
Oh, yes. Someone giving forcefully? What was it like? My husband and his mother fight over paying for stuff like meals and fuel. I just stay out of it. I only give forcefully when a situation is off balance, otherwise things can get pretty putrid, pretty quickly.
I have at times said shut up you two and I’ll pay! And I did and they did, or I’ve said, “Well I’ll get lobster and caviar then and champagne.” Just to stop them arguing. So you did it too. Yes, I guess I did.
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
