Be Inquisitive

The autistic has sympathy, but not empathy. The psychotic has empathy, but not sympathy.

If you are injured, to my mind (the autistic) it’s the same thing as me being injured. It is “wrong” and must be addressed. For all intents and purposes, I am injured. For the psychotic, they can image what you’re feeling, but they can’t get out of their own feelings. As much as your pain might be bad, that can’t have any meaning for them because the fuzzy roaches are trying to eat their brain.

This is how psychotics can mass murder. It is how mothers have violently murdered their children to, “Save the child’s soul, because they were possessed and needed to be set free.” It’s all very coherent from their point of view. Where an autistic would see that system they have in their heads and say something simple like, “That’s broken.” “That can’t work.” This is why I sometimes have a hard time explaining myself, because I have to tag or “color code” my observations so that other people can understand them. Add content that wasn’t a natural part of my thought.

Back track and find a path others can follow you on? Yes. I have learned to find the analogues in my mind that give me at least something that a more normal person can relate to. I have to do a lot of hunting images to relate to people. This is why I have studied so much religion and philosophy and magick and stuff like that.

Any questions about imagination, or stuff you want to share?

I’m empty. Excellent. Then according to Taoists you have full understanding. If they say so. Well, they do say so. You will find this understanding surfacing later in my other classes. It’s only when you can’t “think” about some topic that you actually understand it.

If I can think about it, it is normal? If you can think about it, it’s accessible to you. If you think about it habitually, then it’s your normal.

There would be no stories or music without imagination. I think it stems also from curiosity. Curiosity is synonymous with imagination.

Why have we been given such inquisitive minds if we aren’t supposed to use them? We are supposed to be inquisitive. It’s necessary for our mental health.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
