What is the benefit of trojans, worms, and viruses on the multiversal level? On the multiversal level, there is a truth to our awareness that is so complex it can only be processed by reverse engineering the web itself. This is done by taking samples, “stealing” code. There is a subset that applies here, and a different set that applies in any one of the “foreign” realities.
Like Fafnir nibbling at the roots of the world tree, in theory it can lead to Ragnarok, but the Ragnarok imperative is necessary to serve the advancement of the web as a whole. Hackers have been the biggest contributors to internet culture to the point that originally there was really no distinguishing between a hacker and a legitimate user.
This is the void as seen from our point of view. The serpents in the abyss seem always to have suspicious motives, just like groups such as Anonymous do today. Upheaval always seems to threaten everything, always seems all consuming. Much is only understood in the aftermath. But just as in the beginning of the internet it was difficult to distinguish between a legitimate user and a hacker, in the beginning of reality it’s difficult to distinguish between the life affirmative and the life threatening. All the “monsters” of the chaotic pre-creation can be likened to hackers. They were as creative as the “protectors” were, and often creation is shown as having been taken from one of these monsters and “adapted” to reflect greater wisdom. You would have a hard time telling the difference between an anti-virus program and an actual virus. They are both equally invasive.
In the case of the Manichean heresy, where Christianity draws its end time prophecy, the reason that Ahura Mazda or “Lord Wisdom” ultimately wins in the end, is that though the old system runs the risk of getting scrapped, there is still the will to compute. When quantum computing becomes a reality, we won’t be bothering with the systems we are using now.
The will to make choices? Indeed.
What will it be like when quantum computing takes over? Dreaming awake. Using your computer will be like using your own brain if all of it were awake and neatly organized, up front for your examination.
People will be able to hack your brain? No, and they will have a hard time hacking your computer as well. But I didn’t mean to imply a quantum computer would be linked to your brain, though in theory it could be, and well, you are not your brain anyway.
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
