Category: Dark Metaphysics

There are very few frank and well reasoned discussions of the dark side of metaphysics. So I thought a class focused on the darker side of metaphysics might serve a valuable role.

What I classify as dark actually falls into what might be called the “shadowed” real of the already occult. This series on Dark Metaphysics is not for indulging anyone’s morbidity. Nor will I advocate the egotistical behaviour associated with many posers to the dark side. It may mirror for you your own path, and thus teach you more about your own way, and you may discover that it is your personal way.

What do you want to know about the dark side?

“The laws and descriptions which make up the literature of occultism can never be a substitute for experience. They indicate directions in which experiment may be made, and in many cases their validity may be known quite promptly to those who will pursue their indications with resolution and energy. They are not intended as a field for … speculation.” Hugh Shearman, An Approach to the Occult

  • Helping Hosts of Vroloks

    Helping Hosts of Vroloks

Is there anything we can do to help the hosts? There is. The old rites of the exorcist actually explains both the relationship of horror stories to these beings as well as illustrates a cure. The old mystery traditions were ritually staged horror stories for introducing both an experiential awareness of their sacred symbolism as…

  • Tripping in the Dark

    Tripping in the Dark

A related phenomenon to vroloks would be therians. Therians are a class of beings like vroloks that induce atavism in human partners. Evolutionary regression and the human component is a partner, not a host, as the therian doesn’t actually drain energy from the host or the environment around the host. Like co dependence? It can…

  • Bee Hives, Human Neurons, Genetic Memory

Bee Hives, Human Neurons, Genetic Memory

Of scientific interest, the human brain when engaging in memory retrieval actually seems to follow more or less what bees do when they forage, and bee behaviour seems to follow a similar pattern to human excitatory/inhibitory nerve signals. You mean how bees can memorize their route to the best flowers? They can, yes. Patterns repeating…

  • Meta-Animals

    Meta-Animals

Are you familiar with elementals? Elementals are units of being that “incarnate” in the base forms of matter, the states of matter. Information patterns that give rise to the potential for more complex beings, like humans, but really not clearly separate from humans. Earth, air, fire, water? Yes, or solid, gas, liquid, and plasma, if…

  • Connection to the World Behind the World

Connection to the World Behind the World

An important point of clarification… In Native American shamanism, their lore told not of many bear spirits, but of one single bear spirit. This tends to confuse modern thinkers, because they see animal behaviour and they do give evidence of being individuals, showing different learned behaviours and memories, temperaments and personal preferences. The shamans weren’t…

  • Callers in the Wild

    Callers in the Wild

The insights gained from temporary empathic union with a therian were adapted to help the shaman understand animal behaviour as well as geological and atmospheric behaviour from an “animal” point of view. But this practice would also leave the shaman with an awakened awareness of inherited traits, predatory instincts, animalistic overdrive reflexes, augmented sensory acuity,…

  • Natives of Our Reality

    Natives of Our Reality

Therians are natives of our reality, our earth. How this relates to our previous topic of vroloks, is that though they have similarities with vroloks, the vroloks are outsiders, viral. They were as therians and are a part of the world’s healthy balance as it exists properly. This is also why therians react so negatively…

  • Societies Power

    Societies Power

Today we will not be talking about society in general, but more specifically secret society. Not specific secret societies, but the process that gives rise to secret societies. Society itself is a bit mysterious even in the normal sense. It’s the infrastructure by which all human power and potential is harnessed nominally to serve the…

  • Mystery Societies

    Mystery Societies

Behind the outward forms of society are the principles that originally gave rise to those organizations that brought people together to live in villages and then cities, and later metropolitan complexes, and these forces have been explored through what have been called the “mysteries” for a long time. The ritual dramas enacted by societies like…

  • Ideas Aren’t Enough

    Ideas Aren’t Enough

The first cities did not arise from the influence of financial powers. If it were just as simple as securing material resources, society would never have moved past the tribal era. The first cities were established not by chieftains and material wealth but by priests, and we still insist on our priests serving as intermediaries…

  • Use the Vision

    Use the Vision

We create mini-dramas accidentally in the virtual world of Second Life, reflexively, instinctively. This is why people so often report that Second Life has changed their real life radically. Sociologists are even studying virtual worlds now for this reason. Second Life has given me a powerful voice that I now use in first life. We have…

  • Ritual Awakening

    Ritual Awakening

In the mysteries, the officiating member or psychopomp often “costumes” themselves as an archetypal figure. They dress their presence in the form of the spirit that brings their society together even though it isn’t their singular, individual identity as a person. This is why you hear of “black masses” always being attended by a mysterious…

  • Role of Guide

    Role of Guide

I think we can be guides to each other. We don’t need to be supreme beings to learn and teach. Yes, indeed. The role of guide used to exist. We rejected it with the rise of the age of reason/science/progress. Like the obesity epidemic? We are bombarded with health information yet still have obesity. We…

  • Non-Space Continuum

    Non-Space Continuum

The core concept behind today’s topic of transdimensional transgression is what is referred to in physics as the observer effect. Just as the planet has undergone a mineral evolution because of the presence of life on and beneath its surface, the surface of emergent space in our world impinges on adjacent regions of what we…

  • Causal Interaction Across Phase Space

    Causal Interaction Across Phase Space

Now perhaps this level is the best for explaining causal interaction across phase space, shall we? Each parallel earth is its own physical entity just as physical as our own. Why this is possible is that they exist at different phases or states of resonant information from our own. Enough of their physical reality has…

  • Outsiders Point of View

    Outsiders Point of View

Now I have to get even more wildly metaphorical, unfortunately, but I think it will all make sense. Imagine earth was a website. Everything else online in the internet can more or less freely access the information of earth with some simple guidelines and restrictions, of course. Ok. Well, in order for the internet to…

  • Earth’s Neighbour

    Earth’s Neighbour

The advancement agenda’s by-product has been the strange epidemics in non-standard consciousness. Autism perhaps being the most visible. The regressionists are embracing the “survival” of the fittest concept and setting up stress on “alpha” intellects, thus increasingly making things like heart disease the world’s number one killer now. Those who survive will be more “integrated”…

  • Still Just Communication

    Still Just Communication

We assume alien life is out to destroy earth. If they were, earth would be long gone by now. They have no interest in destroying earth. Many of their technologies use principles and resources that have nothing to do with anything on earth, or our region of phase space either. Strange matter is really very…
